D-J Engineering was proud to participate in the 4th Annual CMMC Midwest Conference, held April 30 – May 1, 2026, in Wichita, Kansas.

Representing D-J Engineering, Evan Trickey and Chris Carmichael, Vice President of Government and Commercial Services, joined a panel discussion titled "What to Expect when You're Expecting a Certification."

The session featured Scott Singer of ControlCase alongside Evan Trickey and Chris Carmichael, with Joseph Lobdell of AM General serving as moderator.

Drawing from D-J Engineering's successful Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 assessment, the panel provided attendees with firsthand perspectives on the certification process, assessment preparation, and the challenges organizations may encounter along the way.

The discussion offered an opportunity for companies preparing for CMMC certification to learn directly from industry professionals and an organization that has successfully completed its Level 2 assessment.

At D-J Engineering, cybersecurity and regulatory compliance remain essential to supporting our customers in the aerospace and defense industries. We appreciate the opportunity to share our experiences and contribute to strengthening cybersecurity readiness across the defense industrial base.
